Wolverine Substation Steel Structures – SaskPower

October 16, 2013 by Dustin Tessier In News & Projects No Comments

Tesco is pleased to announce that SaskPower has awarded the contract to supply and install  substation steel structures at the Wolverine Switching Station. These structures are used to support the various HV equipment such as motorized disconnects, isolator switches, instrument transformers, take-off and dead-end structures, as well as the bus supports found within the yard. Tesco is responsible for fabricating the structures from raw material – including the galvanization process – and  will also manage the installation and erection of these structures.  Our mobile fleet of welders have been used to erect the structures as per SaskPower’s technical specifications and Tesco’s Integrated Management System.

We’re appreciative of SaskPower’s work and take great pride in exceeding their expectations in terms of quality, price and flexibility.
