Since the inception of IEC 61850 in 2004, Tesco has become one of few Canadian companies to support and endorse this Smart Grid enabling standard. This allows Tesco to track the pulse of new technology advancements within the power system sector, and provide our clientele with clear direction as it applies to these emerging technologies. Tesco is honored to be hosting the IEC Technical Committee 57, Working Group 10 meetings in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada from June 1-5, 2015. We take great pleasure in having the opportunity to bring this distinguished set of international guests to our great province.
During the first week of June, Regina will transform into a collaborative hub with Smart Grid experts visiting from around the world. This International Working Group is composed of knowledge experts in the power system and industrial sectors, including vendors, utilities, system integrators, and universities from around the world.
Member countries include: USA, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Korea, Japan, China, Russia, and many others. These delegates are responsible for the ongoing development of the IEC 61850 Standard, which has a broadening scope and is proving to be a key ingredient to various Smart Grid related initiatives.
Tesco will be working with Insight Interactive to create a memorable, engaging and inclusive experience from beginning to end complete with digital, video and web-based platforms. We hope you follow the progress of this event, in what promises to be a dynamic set of meetings.
